Every day, I get extremely light headed at one point. Sometimes, I almost pass out. It started a few years ago, and I don't recall any physical injury at that time. Any ideas what it could be from? :/

Much of this could be due to your blood pressure, either way I would suggest you call and let your GP know about this and they can guide you from there.

Yeah sounds like Vertigo, but I can not say for sure. Is most likely due to low blood pressure. As Dimitri said, go and take a trip to your GP :)

It could also be because you're anemic, i.e having a low iron count. This used to happen to me till I went to the doctor and was prescribed iron tablets.

Light headedness could be caused by several things. Dehydration is the one I run into a lot. Drinking plenty of water is essential.

Whenever I'm dehydrated or if I feel like my blood sugar might be a bit low I feel light headed. Try drinking more water, and also try having some more vitamin C; it will perk you up a bit hopefully, and helps with low blood sugar.

Yeah, it sometimes happens to me when I get up suddenly after sitting for a long time.

Something that you can do for future incidents is to check if you are dehydrated. One way is to check the color of your grin when you use the bathroom, the more clear it is the better, the dark yellow, stagnant color means you are dehydrated. A second way is that when you think you may be dehydrated you can pinch the skin on the top of your hand, if it takes more than two seconds to return to the natural state then you need some water.

Let me know if you need anything else.

As others have said, go and see your doctor.

Is it just dizziness, or is there anything else such as fast heart rate?

I have heart rate and blood pressure problems that mean without my medication i'm like this most of the time. What I have gets worse with time so I suggest going to go and see your doctor :)

I get light headed and faint a bit, usually because I have low blood sugar, how's your diet? Do you eat enough?
