I am Terrified...

Hey, I'm new on here (don't worry, I'm not a n00b.).
The reason I am posting this is because, tonight, when my mom comes home from work, I'll tell her about my cutting.
I'll have to say it all in Polish.

I am absolutely terrified.

Which brings me to post this.
I have some questions, for those like me who SH as well:

Any tips on how to tell my mom?
How long have you been cutting?
(If your comfortable saying this) Why did you start?
Does anybody know you SH?
Are you planning on telling someone?

Any tips on how to tell my mom? Well, it depends how your mother is. If she likes things blunt. Then I believe you should just tell her. If she likes things sugar coated, tell her the whole story. Also, make sure you tell her everything either way. Don't just be like "i cut, " and then walk out. :/
How long have you been cutting? I have been a cutter for five months, a carver for a few years.
(If your comfortable saying this) Why did you start? I'd rather not say. :(
Does anybody know you SH? A few. Some of my closest friends, and my brother. Oh, and my girlfriend.
Are you planning on telling someone? Maybe my mother. I really don't know.

XD That lightened my mood a little. I'm glad that I'm not young/stupid enough to make that mistake.
My mom is a really complex person, and the amount of yelling directed at me has made me sort of scared of her. A lot of the time she doesn't take even my problems seriously, so I bet I'll have to list the reasons I started, but I'll try to keep it simple.

Oh, God, your only 14 and already so long? What a broken world :/
At least you have people to support you, though.
Its alright that you don't say, I know even thinking about the reasons can hurt terribly sometimes.
I hope that you can stop doing this to yourself, that the love of the people around you will help you.

I am actually today 69 days free. Working on it. Sometimes I wish I could just restart, and still have my days, ya know? I know some people who have been harming since they have been 7. :/

But no problem, and remember. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm there.

Oh my God, I told her. I did it.
That was nothing like I thought it would. She is my support now.
She made me promise not to do it again I don't know how many times.

Yeah, I know how that is.
7 years old? Things like this make me hate the world we live in today.

That's honestly amazing that you went though with it, now you have the help and support you deserve to be able to try and stop. She's here for you now so be honest with her, hiding your feelings and and relapses -which are okay, no one can expect you to stop straight away so if you slip up just remember to pick yourself back up again because you are strong enough to be able to- will only make things worse and cause more pain for everyone when she finds out you lied to her.

You are in no way a coward, it's so hard especially as you have no clue how she would react. Don't look at it as chickening out 4 times but finally telling her and knowing now that things can pick up and hopefully start to get better. This really is amazing to read, I don't know you but i'm proud to see how you've taken the first step to getting better. Well done! :)
