Heart Surgery or Any surgery

Has anyone had heart surgery??

I am 19 years old and i am going in for open heart surgery this summer to replace my aortic valve and possibly have some things done with my coronary arteries and aorta(still waiting for the results to come back) First i need to get a PET scan and then i will schedule surgery.

So has anyone had heart surgery? Or any type of surgery?

I just had surgery yesterday, but what exactly are you asking? I heard heart surgery i painful after because they have to rack your ribs open to get to your heart, other than that, no much more I can say.

I had a surgery, but it was very minor and was in my toe, not my heart.
