Back in Febuary I requested a member forum, I understand there is a huge waiting list and it requires a lot of effort from staff to implement and maintain. With this in mind my question is how and when do I find out if my request has been accepted?

Thankyou for your time

When my request was accepted I got a VM from Ronnie (Scarface) that said it was made with a link to it.

due to the huge waiting list most of the diaries were added and looking through the New Diary Request Forum a lot of the requests made before yours and after were added, but seemed like yours weren't for some reason (maybe it was missed among all the requests?)? you can request it again

You may have, at the time, not met the requirements.

Actually I do remember for awhile, peoples diary request were made with activity levels, This is to say if you never logged on for a week or two at a time the solt was given to members who where most active.

Also if you did not meet the requirements at the time then your diary would not have been created.

Also if you never posted in said diary, chances are it was taken down fairly quickly. Also if your activity level on said diary was low it would have been taken down.

You had about 55 or 60 posts when you requested your diary, which does not meet the requirement of 100 posts. On April 10th when the new diaries were all added, you had exactly 91 posts, which also did not meet the requirement.

Makes sense to me.

Quite right, based on the replies I will go back and re-request the diary.

Thanks everybody.

At the time of inquiry of when the diary was made, was the post count to have a diary less? I was almost sure the post was something like 30 or 50. I was defiantly sure it was less than 100. So therefore if he applied under the old diary request rules should he not have been considered under the old rules?

I was sure post count was less than 100 before the "new" diary request rules were updated. Although I might be wrong.

Either way, the new diaries were created under the newly set parameters I believe. So his was most likely put into the waiting list until eligible.

Sorry having problems with my phone.

I do recall checking and double checking otherwise at the time or I wouldn't have requested it. But since I am now eligable anyway that seems neither here or there. Question is do I go back and send a fresh request (I haven't done this yet) Or have the previous request honoured?
