I'd say take it slow. If you have a best friend or something you can say compare sizes and watch porn with I would say go for it. And if it works, look but don't touch unless he says its okay.

You could also try seeking out bi or gay guys, but imo that's riskier because if you end up not liking it you don't want to run the risk they'll hate you for "leading them on" or anything.
