I think when people send you vm's they should have a pop up notification like a pm does. I have found that people dont know when they get vm's because all that comes up is a number next to the private message link. Just a suggestion

you already get notified, look at the top right hand corner "Your Notifications"

Surely by clicking on the strange number you'd realise you have a message, and even when you click user cp?

Just look over at your notifications every so often, I find that I respond to visitor messages pretty quickly, and that's what I do.

this. I don't want to have popups. I like the current notification very much. I already posted an image where you can tell when you have VMs

also you can see you have new VMs in the UCP

Yeah, popups get pretty annoying. I like it the way it is :)

You can disable the pop ups for pm's via your UCP--->Edit options--->Scroll down and there is a box that you can tick to disable pop ups for pm's.
