The title explains a lot of it. When I sit up or move around, I get an intense stab of pain in my inner upper-middle back. It fades pretty quickly, but I've never felt this kind of pain in my back before. It happened randomly in like 2nd period this morning at school. I was just sitting at my desk when I got the first stab of pain. I wasn't doing anything strenuous. Just sitting.

What the heck is wrong with my back?? Any help?

It could be multiple things, I would suggest an anti-inflammatory (go to the local pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist and describe your symptoms and ANY/ALL allergies you have and they can recommend one to you) and if the pain isn't gone in a week contact your physician and schedule an appointment with them.

You may be having muscle spasms. I recommend going to a doctor. A chiropractor would be best. I could be wrong about what it is but you still she go see a chiropractor. They are awesome at that fixing your back. Plus, you want a healthy spine. Your organs are a part of your spinal chord which could in turn effect them of you do not have a health back.

Yeah I agree with the above two. Could be a spasm, a pinched nerve or something wrong with the spinal column (Could be a disk?) Can't say. If it does not pass see your GP for evaluation.

Probably pinched nerve.
