I have 1.5in of foreskin overhang when I'm soft and 1in of foreskin overhang when hard. It seems like a lot. Is it? Should I get it cut?

I don't think it really makes a massive difference and I don't think it's totally necessary, but if you want to, then bring it up to the doc/your family.

Wish I had that much overhang!

The length of your foreskin is less important than the tightness of your foreskin. If it's really tight, so much so that it's difficult to fully retract when flaccid and/or partially retract when erect, then you should consider doing some stretching exercises to loosen it. However, if everything is functioning properly, as far as you can tell, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about - obviously you should consult a professional if you think there's something wrong.

Sounds like a lot to me. Before I was cut, I had maybe 1/2 inch.

I have 1 inch of the head covered when hard (but can pull it back so the head is uncovered ) and a 2 inch overhang (head covered and more) when soft (but can pull it back and it returns to just covering the bottom of the head).
Unless you think it's going to be a major problem, I'd leave it. If you do wish to find out more or see if it'll be a problem, I'd speak to your doctor (or parents if you're open about that).

That's a good deal of overhang, but I wouldn't get it cut.

Maybe it means that you're about to grow really long... haha

I guess that is a lot of foreskin. Don't think I've heard of that before but just like everyone else here has said. If you're comfortable with it and it all works fine then you have nothing to worry about;)
