Username Change Question

I was wondering if somebody is banned, can somebody else use that username now becuase they are gone, or is that username forever gone?

It might be possible but I don't think the admins would allow it as it might leave gaps or unexplained parts in the forums.

I believe when a member gets banned, it's not the same as an account deletion.

Meaning that say I get banned, my account is still kept on the server or whatever, and the username is still in use, the account is just not around to be used.

Not sure if that made sense, but in short, I don't think it would work, just like if you tried to change your username to mine if I wasn't banned it wouldn't work.

I'm pretty sure it's this. someone is banned, but they aren't removed from the database.
