There's also the possibility that not everyone is using the same measuring technique. Instead of just placing a ruler on top of the penis they could be measuring from the side, which will give a larger measure. Also pushing the ruler in against the pubic bone would also give a larger size.

If this is the case a guy claiming to have 6 inches might actually be around 4.5". It would be interesting to know how all these giant penis guys measure. And yes, some are really that big, but it would be a minority.

Sure, there probably is a fair amount of people who are lying. But who are you to judge them? Sure, it may not be nice, but there isn't anything you can do about it, and to make a thread entitled "real penis size" only makes people want to lie more just to fuck with you.

There are people who are self conscious, and they think lying will make them look better. But remember, not everyone (or anyone that you know of for sure, for that matter), is lying.
