That depends on the ages of the people involved, not just the differences. If one person is 16 and the other 15 (16 is the age on consent in the UK) then that would technically be illegal, not that it matters to most people. Plus 12-13 would be pretty wrong, not even a teenager - maybe people see it different to me. But I think that certain age differences need to be observed.

I don't see anything wrong with a year age difference. Unless one is 18 and the other is 17, because that's illegal where I live as the 18 year old is officially an adult.

Just the legality surrounding consent where you live, if one partner isnt old enough to consent then you might have a slight problem. But it should be alright, not too much to worry about.

Over 21 doesn't matter at all. Under that it starts to fluctuate (imo). From 12-18 if you're just one year apart from one another I don't think it matters at all. The older you are in that age range, the bigger the age gap is acceptable (again just my opinion). Like if you're 14 and you're friend is 17-18, its a stretch but if you're good friends I don't see anything wrong with it. 16-18 I think its okay to experiment with guys that are no older than 20-21. Just my opinion though.

Yes, If its 2 years younger It's perfectly fine, if it's 2 years older I would MAYBE do it. if it was 3 years younger I would still maybe do it but if 3 years older hell no.. But if it was 4 years younger I wouldn't do it..
But if you look it like this:
if your 13, then 1 years younger and 2 older
if your 12, then 1 years younger and older
if your 14 then 1-2 years younger and older
if your 15, then 1-3 years younger and 1-2 older
and so on..

Yeah I don't think it's an issue at all. I think the older you get the more acceptable the age is. Like I'm 16 and messed about a bit with an 19 year old and I'm sure thats acceptable but if a 12 year old did with a 15 year old I'd find it a bit strange.
