Been Caught?

Personally I haven't been caught, luckly, but I was just wondering if anyone has been caught by someone whilst SH. Was just wandering because I was watching a video the other day of someone who had an experience.

I've almost been caught once. I was brushing my teeth in my bathroom while i only had a towel around my body. My mom entered and with super speed I hid my scars under the towel. That was close. I wonder what will you do if you get caught?

I was in shop class, and my teacher forcibly made me take off my hoody. It was the most embarrassing thing, to have my entire class find out I was cutting like that.

I was nearly caught in the act of it... I was sitting on my bed cutting, and then my dad barged in without knocking. I don't know how he didn't see, but he didn't thank god. The other day, my razor stash was almost found by my mum, she was looking through my draws. I have no idea what I would do if I was caught...

My mom and siblings saw the scars on my wrist.... my mom ended up telling my therapist. And then i refused to talk about it and she almost sent me to the hospital. Worst. day. of. my . life. Then a friend of mine asked me about my scars and asked if i was cutting.... this was after my family found out and i was having a horrible day and didnt bother hiding my scars... Then the third time was very scary for me. The third time i was being admitted to the hospital for a heart procedure. I cut on my thighs and have tons of scars. The procedure they were going to do required them to see my thighs because they had to make a cut in my leg to put a tube up to my heart...i was terrified that they would notice my scars(hard to miss) and ask me about it...i was afraid theyd admit me to psych. I am not sure if they ever did ask me cause i was so out of it from the meds they gave me but thankfully psych never came!

i was close to being caught yesterday. i've hurt my back and my mom is a chiropractor so she was gonna check what how bad the injury was,
first thing she did was to grab my ankles and pull upp my pants so she could se if my legs were straight. i got a minor panic attack, but it seemed like my socks were pulled upp high enough so she couldn't see the scars on my ankles.

atleast she didn't find the cuts,:) but i still got a slipped disk and ischias :(

To be honest i've never thought that far ahead, just do all I can to make sure that I don't get caught. I can't really give an excuse as there are too many cuts and scars and it's obvious they were done by myself.

I was got today in the pool's washroom but thankfully it was just my teacher who knew where I was and what I was doing (I gave her a look)
I tried covering it up, but it was too late

A couple weeks ago, I was in bed, and my mum barged into my room, but thankfully I was quick enough to put my arm under my blanket, and "itch my leg"

I've been caught, and now most of my close friends and "adult figures" know about it. I didn't really care. I showed them. You sound like me xP, I got caught on Tuseday and things are worse now as well. Cut up my leg pretty bad last week and they found the towel I used to clean up my blood. 4 years I've keep my cutting a secret all down the drain in one night. My parents also think I want to kill myself and really I dont have the patients to explain cutting to them. I'm also going to get sent to a psychologist as well so I can't wait for that either. I'm not letting some damn doctor tell me how to feel and thing. O well I'll figure something out.

I've never been caught. I either go to the bathroom and lock the door or sometimes I cut in the shower, because I think a lot about things and reflect in the shower. Otherwise, I cut in my room when I know no one will bother me.

I got caught in the worst way ever. I was in an accident, and the doctor saw some cuts and scars, but he could tell that they were older and they couldn't have been from the car. I had to sit there in tears whilst confessing to my mother and the doctor. I got lectures and my mom told me I couldn't be a daughter of hers if I did such things. Yeah.... I think you're lucky.

I've been very close to being caught before. Once I was cutting at my desk that was behind a wall so you can't see straight from the door. My mom came in without knocking. Thankfully I had time to throw the blade into my drawer and put a blanket on myself. Another time I was getting ready to cut on my bed and my sister came in the room. Once again I was spared

I've been caught twice before, both times by my mom. Surprisingly, she didn't do anything except try to get me to tell her why. We'd stay up way late waiting for me to say anything but I never did. Then she just let me sleep :I

I denied everything to the hundredth power and wouldn't speak.

Sounds like my story, only my therapist tried to send me to the hospital because i refused to talk! And my mom was the one who told my therapist

When I lived at home every once in a while someone would come to the door when I was cutting, when I no longer had a door knob people would just barge in so I stopped cutting in my room and would do it in the bathroom. Some people have seen my cuts/scars, but no one does anything.

A couple of months ago my mum seen the cuts and scars on my arm and asked was I cutting which I denied telling her that I had been scratching my arms dead bad lately which she believed :) which I was so thankful for I then started to cutting my thighs so she will never see. Every so oftern she will grab my arm and check to make sure im not "scratching" again :) I am thankful that she noticed because it just means that I can cut better on my thighs :)

I got caught two days ago and now my parents are refusing to let me go out with my friends until I stop cutting completely and all my scars have faded. This isn't helping in any way, shape or form and my mum has been checking for new cuts constantly over the past two days, which is really annoying me. I've tried making my mum understand that she's not making anything better by stopping me going out, as the only time I'm not thinking about cutting is when I'm out with my friends or at school, but she just won't listen, and I have absolutely no idea what to do. I want to cut so bad right now :(.

My boyfriend seen the scars on my hips once but i told him that my cat did it, and my mum seen the ones on my arms when i was younger and i told her it was from my bracelets. I think they both know the truth but neither know what to do or say about it. Its a taboo subject, people want to avoid talking about it so they pretend not to know.
