Relapse

I can't believe I relapsed. My older brother was yelling at me because I am acting "different" and secluded. I couldn't take it, I couldn't run or cope, I had to cut. So I cut and it was deep, it's still bleeding. But the thing is I didn't feel the pain, it isn't working anymore. I don't know what to do. I think I'm going to keep cutting and keep bleeding until I feel better...

awwww hun im sorry :( have you ever explained to your family what you are feeling? Maybe try the salt and ice challenge and see if that gives you the same release. You held on for so long, i would never have been able to last as long as you did with not cutting. Its ok that you relapsed...you will be able to stop again. Don't cut so deep---i dont want you to bleed out so please dont do that. Hun i think you need to talk to your parents about seeing a therapist. You really need someone to give you tips and help you work through all of this. Please consider it. Im here if you need me!

I'm seeing my school counselor... As for the deep cut it just happened i didn't mean for it to be so deep... what really got me was my little brother, he is 2 and a half. He saw my cut pointed to it and said ouchy then kissed it. I was crying for about 1/2 an hour... I don't know how this is going to end.

Good, i am glad you are seeing someone. As for your brother, that is adorable. See? he cares for you. He loves you, he doesnt want to see you hurt. Live for him. Live because he deserves to have his amazing big sister in his life. You do have people to care for you. You always will. :)

Everybody relapses. Quitting is never easy, if it was everybody would do it. Don't give up. Yes, you relapsed, but you just have to keep trying. :hug:
