My pony, who I have had since I was 5, passed on today. She was one of the only things I cared about. It's really hard, I can't believe that she's gone. I feel like I am going to wake up early, like usual, and half asleep go and feed her like I have for the last nine years. But I will never see her again. At least I told her I loved her. Missy <3

I'm very sorry for your loss, my mom had a dog for fourteen years and it passed on a few years ago, with time eases the pain. RIP Missy.

Everything has a cycle though. Her spirit is with you, and she loved you too without a doubt. Don't grieve; Celebrate the good times.

Again I am so sorry Maeve, I know it will never be enough but I really am.
Remember all the good times, 9 years of looking after her and having her in your life. Keep her in your thoughts because she'll always be with you and she'll never be forgotten. You cared about her a lot and that can't be replaced either.
Things will get better, Maeve. You just need some time but eventually they will. You got to tell her you loved her and she knew anyway by the way you cared for her. Please stay strong and know, agian, that I am here if you ever need me. <3

Pets are just like real people and friends. I would feel the same if my cat died. I think more of her than of some people. I'm sorry for your loss. At least you were able to spend as much time with her as you could.

Maeve. Missy will always hold a special place in your heart, as well as the VT community. She may not be alive, but she'll always be with you. She touched the hearts of many VTers, just by the way you described her. Think of the good times you've had with her. Not the times when she was ill. She wouldn't want that.
