I just started working. And this really cute guy makes an extra effort to say hi to me every morning and gives me the warmest smile. Not just when I start work, but EVERY time I see him. He's also even taken time to help me when he still has much to do. Sometimes, he acts like he doesn't want me to lift a finger. When I try and talk to him, he goes silent. Like he's dumbfounded. I guess he must be really shy. And he is really hesitant to reply to something I have to say. Not like he's dumb or anything. More like, nervous.

Am I just too hopeful? How can I know for sure that he has a thing for me?

Or...he is just trying to be a friend? If he is friendly that doesn't mean that he has to be gay,i mean you should ask him,he knows better than we do on vt.

More than likely, I got overexcited. He probably wants me to feel welcome. I'm not used to such kindness from other employees. I probably saw what I wanted to see. But I still want to test the waters. I want to see where he lies on the spectrum.

I think that maybe you should ask him to hang out with you because it seems that he could possibly have a thing for you but you never know.. And if you start to hang out with him outside of work then you will get to know him better. Even if he doesn't have a thing for you it's still nice to hang out with other people that you work with so you can bitch and complain about other co-workers and stupid customers (heh heh that's what I'd do)
