Hidind scars

I know this is a topic that has been touched on time and time again, but I finally found the perfect way to cover my cuts, which extend from my wrist to my shoulder and number around 600 in all, and walk around in broad daylight while wearing short sleeves. Have any of you ever watched the show Big Bang Theory? Long story short two of the characters buy these things called tattoo sleeves which are made to look like a realistic whole arm tattoo.
I didn't think much of it at first because I thought there was no way the things would actually work to cover up scars because chances were they would look like fabric or have a seam, but turns out a lot of them don't and you can pick them up for around £5 online or in specialist stores and they actual look pretty good, there are even a few made of materials designed to feel like real skin. Though they are more expensive.
This has been pretty invaluable for me to know as it has actually allowed me to apply for jobs that I otherwise would have been unable to go for due to short sleeved uniforms, and although some employers frown on tattoo's at least it's allowed me a decent chance at the position anyways.

So what do you guys use?

I did see that episode and actaully it sounds like a pretty neat idea. Tights don't work for me so I didn't think much of it but yeah that's something I might look into getting. Must be shitty having to find the right skin colour though.

Usually I wear leggings with everything. Short ones that I roll up to cover the top of my legs if my shorts roll up in PE and sometimes if I have enough time I do the concealor-foundation-hairspray cycle but that's just annoying. Also Vitamin E oil but I like the scars so I don't use it very often :/

I use mostly foundation or arm warmers. Sometimes I just wear long sleeves, though. Those tattoo things, could you by any chance send me a link on where to get them? X3

whats this concealer-foundation-hairsrpay thing? I have some tights and leggings to wear but i dont want to have to wear them with shorts also....i usually only wear them with skirts

It's what it is. Put on concealor, foundation and then the hairspray makes it waterproof (to a certain degree) so it doesn't come off so easily. The more layers you apply the better it covers them but it can also make it look like you've tried to cover something up so you have to be careful.

I wear leggins with shorts, it's not something that you don't see and it's very common so i'm sure no one would say anything about it if you did.

hmmmm i will try that :) and yeah if other things dont work i will probably do that. I just think people will wonder why since i have never done it before and it doesnt seem like "my style" ya know?
