What to do without hurting him?

a couple of days ago a 7th grader gave me a beautiful necklace. he said he loved me and that he would always love me. that i was the only reason that he hadn't move out of the state. the thing is though... i have a boyfriend and this kid knows i have a boyfriend, but my boyfriend doesn't know about him. i feel like i should tell him about all of this but i don't know how, and i don't want him to feel like i'm picking this other kid over him. i don't even like this other kid. i just don't know what to do...

Well how do you feel about both of them and what grade are you? (also because i'm british ages may be better if you don't mind).
If you tell your current boyfriend it would be likely to start a fight or at least a confrontation where someone could get hurt and people are going to make a bigger deal about it than it is.
Are you happy in your relationship at the moment? If you don't like this other kid then turn him down. Just do it gently because if you're harsh with him that wont help anything. Talk to him somewhere quiet and just try and explain that you can't date him. Although he may get hurt you can't just go out with him because you're afraid of hurting his feelings and because he's saved so much for you. Don't let all the pressure he is putting on get the better of you just do what you want and what makes you happy.

the guy (Jason) is 13 and my boyfriend is 13. i'm 14. and me and my boyfriend have a very good relationship. and i really don't like this kid like that at all, kinda as a friend i guess. but i don't know i thought my boyfriend would be okay with it but after today i realized how protective and possessive he is (which i don't mind at all)

Kellie, if I were you I'd tell him that you'd rather just be friends with him and that you already have a boyfriend. Simple as that.

You should tell your boyfriend. A good relationship is based on truth and trust. It's better if you tell him now, than him finding out later and thinking "why didnt she tell me?" I say just tell him. He is not going to think you are picking the kid over him if you just say "this kid has a crush on my but i dont like him," or something like that. that way he knows and will be certian that you still care for him

Just wait, your boyfriend doesn't have a reason to care. If he's pissed off, just tell him he has nothing to worry about.
