I've had this rash for a couple of days now. it comes and goes, and it makes my arms and top of my hands splotchy and red... I've tried benadryl, doesn't do anything except make me tired and screw up my typing (i'm on benedryl right now loL)

anyone know whats going on

Are they hives? If so, it could be a reaction to either something you've been eating, a material in a fabric, a new soap, or even a new laundry detergent you've been using. Since it's not in an embarrassing spot, show your mom if you haven't, and if you have do it again, a second look can never hurt. Benedryl doesn't always work right away if I'm having a reaction to something, so give it the night to take effect, and in the morning if it's not gone I would place a call to the your doctor just to make sure everything is right.

It can be many different things. I recommend going to a doctor or a dermatologist. It's better to know what you have before you treat it. I wish you're best of luck.

I'm probably going to the dermatologist. I don't believe it's hives, because it doesn't bump out like hives do, my skin is just spotchy in the areas described. I'll try to get a picture up when it comes back again...

Don't delay. IT COULD BE A FLESH EATING DISEASE! Well probably not. But still, your skin is probably one of the most important organs you have. (somebody told me it was considered an organ. Is that correct?)

This. And yes it is the largest organ of the body.

Yes, I totally agree...some other things it could be, I know myself I cannot touch newspaper print for a long period of time or printer Xerox paper because of what they treat the paper with for some reason makes me really itchy so it could be many different things.
