So here I am. Just enjoying the best time of my life with my friends in New Mexico. My first true friend I've ever made in my life is there, and It couldnt be better. Even my loved one, I got so much closer to in the past week. Things were near-perfect.
So I'm minding my own business the whole time, but a few times, a strong indication was given that my best friend has a crush on my loved one.
And to make my plummet at terminal velocity back to reality nothing short of perfection, It was confirmed.
Once again, I'm stuck. With my new friendship with her which I was planning to work on, I thought things would go smoothly. Now he likes her, and if I try to step in now, I could potentially lose my best friend.
I mean, they're going to the same school next year without me, anyway, and they seem to be really hitting it off, so a relationship in their future is probably inevitable, but I just can't stand thinking about it too much now. It's just way too confusing, painful, and pointless.
What should I be doing right now?
