He is using me :'(

So there is this guy in my class and he is one of the only people who know that I cut. He has been trying to convince me for about a month to go see our school counselor. So last week we both went and I told my counselor about my situation and I haven't cut for a week. :) But now I think that he is only coming with me so he can ditch class :( He doesn't talk to me anymore or ask how I am doing but he asks when are we going to our next appointment. I feel like he is trying to help me just so he can skip class. The thing is he has never been through what I have, he is very optimistic, too optimistic. He is a very nice person, very caring but the thing is he is kind and cares about everyone. So when he cares about me I don't feel special. Him caring about means nothing because he cares about everyone. Plus I think he likes my best friend (the other person that knows). I just HATE being used... End of short rant.

If you feel this is the case, tell him you don't need him to go with you. See what his reaction is, and how it goes after that. It was nice of him to go with you the first few times, but if you feel like he doesn't care anyway, don't bother telling him, or say you want to go without him.

Do you think that will help? Should I txt him and tell him or next time he asks I should tell him?

Maybe I should add that I have feelings for him... :( I hate this. I hate how every time I get close to someone, every time I fall for them they like someone else instead of me. I'm sick of getting let down by some guy when I have bigger problems... I HATE it...

I wou see how it works by asking him not to come next time. I wouldn't bother texting him about it, but just wait until he normally asks you.

And ask yourself this as well, do you want to be with a guy who may just be using you?

No. I don't want to be with a guy like that but this guy isn't like that... well... i don't know, he is smart, kind, funny, good looking, and caring. I don't know if he is just acting like a guy or if he is really using me. You're a guy could you give me your opinion?

:( I guess that is the best thing, it's just he doesn't understand what I am going through... he is trying to help but he can help only so much... I mean he is the one that really convinced me to get help but I don't know if he cares anymore. I tell him if he doesn't want to come he doesn't have to but he always reassures me that he does. I don't know if its to help me or to get him out of class :( I hate how this always happens. I'm never going to find a guy that likes me for being me and cares about me, a guy that wants to help me. He better not trigger me... I will seriously cry if that happens.
