Sorry for the silly spelling. Little bored. I was wondering what you guys would recommend for headphones. I'm tired of buying skullcandy that end up breaking.
I want quality. What's the best pair that gives me bang for my buck? Beats by Dre? Koss? What?

First, stay away from Beats. Overpriced branded pieces of shit. Go for either of these:

I went with the Audio Technicas, Matt recommended them to me and I've been very happy with them.

What Murdoc mentioned above are definitely good. Depending on what you're after, for pure music enjoyment, generally Klipsch, Grado and Bose make very good cans too. For professional/monitoring or music production, definitely Sennheiser HD280 or just about anything from Beyerdynamic. There isn't really one you can ascertain as being better than the other; at the end of the day comfort and ergonomics are subjective as is sound quality.

All good options, truthfully. Personally, I have bose quietcomfort 3 acoustic noise cancelling headphones, and they are great. Extremely comfortable, block out most noise, great quality build, and most of all, the music sounds great, from the highs to the lows.

I'd personally not buy Beats. I think they sound too deep and aren't good for listening to acoustic or electric stuff. It's always safe to go with Bose but it could burn your wallet out pretty badly.
I'd suggest Sennheiser headphones. I'm really happy with my pair. They sound great and are a lot cheaper than Bose too! :)

I am looking at getting Audio-Technica's as well (the same model Leo Laporte uses on twit)

I'd go with those Audio-Technica's, especially since they're 57% off.

Skullcandys are shit, I guess you've been through the same thing I went through with them. 3 pairs in 2 months just isn't worth it. lol
As Matt said Sennheiser are the top brand if you want quality. It depends on what type of music you want them for and how much you're willing to spend at the end of the day.

Sennheiser or Audio-Technica`s. If you see any beats just run away screaming, believe me, it`s for your own good! :D
