I can't. I have not had the opportunity to learn how to, though. All the cars my family owns are automatic.

All of but 1 of our cars are auto's.
I can drive a manual. The manual is a 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8. I am currently driving that everyday. Manuals are fun to drive, but they get annoying when it comes to city driving. I prefer an auto, but I like both.

I find it easier to drive manual cars than automatic lol. Maybe I'm just not used to it.

My parents both drive manuals, which I can drive as well as a lot of people, but unfortunately, my car is an automatic.
I drive a 1997 Ford Falcon Wagon.

Some what. I've pretty much got the basics down and such but I'm still getting used to my car. The clutch in my Mustang can be really stuburn sometimes.

My mom had a manual but I never had chance to learn how to drive it, seems like it wouldn't be to hard

I've been learning how to drive both right now (I prefer automatic, though, just because I'm still not totally used to driving a manual).
I've been learning how to drive a manual in a red 1980's Alfa Romeo Spider -- I'm surprised that my dad let me drive it because it was his first car (my grandparents bought it for him at a car show for cheap xD). Unfortunately, it's in storage at the moment; waiting for more sunny weather to come! (:

In the UK its compulsory to learn in a "stick" shift car (unless you are disabled or just plain unable) so over here i've never driven an automatic, just manuals.

I prefer manual cars, I hate automatics, they're just too slow and clunky to me lol Kind of sucks because I'd say around 90% of cars here are automatics.

I drive an automatic that has manual shift mode. :)

I can drive stick, prefer not to, automatic is just one less thing to worry about. My dads car has a manual mode, but its a waste to me, there's absolutely no reason to have a manual in his car though

Not all Automatics are slow and clunky. Mine is smoother than anyone could drive a manual. It isn't slow in any way either. I wouldn't have an Automatic unless it was 6cyl and up.

i drive a 1987 toyota pickup ^-^ the only reason i drive it is because of sentimental value and when you drive in a higher gear at lower speeds, the rpms are lower which saves a little gas.. =]

One less thing to worry about? A manual transmission is a LOT less complicated than an automatic.

Manual cars are much more fun to drive as it feels as though you are actually driving the thing. In saying that auto's can be nice and relaxing to drive every-now-and-then as they're essentially oversized dogem cars :P
