Well, it's been a while since I wrote on here, but I peviously saw a councerllor through school, and she was able to help reduce my cutting to once every couple of weeks, well are time ran out, and then my school without me knowing referred me to camhs - and i see these people there and they have said that it is okay for me to cut, I don't need to stop as long as it is safe. But now I've start cutting again and its really really deep, I can barley get it to close up. I'm cutting three times a day x and it's getting harder to stop x I don't know what I'm supposed to do? I leave secondary school soon, and everyone signs each others shirts, but I have all theses scars over my arms. And I have all these negative thoughts and I can't concentrate at school, and I really need to because my exams start in 2 weeks time when I go on study leave. Seems like no one understands :( and summer is also coming up and I don't know how I'm going to over up my arms in the hot weather? Seriously what is the point in life?

What kind of people are you seeing???? You need to switch. it is NEVER okay or safe to cut. NEVER. it is ALWAYS something that should and needs to be stopped. Cutting will never be safe, there for it is not ok to do it. You need to find a therapist who will actually help you get better.....
Please look into switching...or admit yourself to the hospital if you think you are really in trouble. :( Im sorry your having a tough time

I have to agree with this. If people are telling you that it's okay and safe to cut then I think any of us would be laughing in their faces. They obviously don't know jackshit about what they're talking about.
You honestly do need to look into finding someone else who can actually help yoou with good advice because you're not going to get anywhere with people telling you that. Talk to someone that you trust and that you think will listen, tell them how you're feeling and just getting it out could help. You need to try and stop because the longer you carry on like this the harder it's going to get. Distractions are good when you get urges. Music, reading, writing it down, excersize just anything that might give you some sort of satisfaction even if it's not to the same effect as cutting. You really should try your best to stop though, it will be hard but you're strong enough to break through this and come out stronger on the otherside.
