I've stumbled upon a rap group based in south Africa. There name is, well Die Antwoord and I find their music... Terrible. But I'm drawn to it for some reason. It's WAY to catchy, even if it sounds like the siting screams of an ape. What do you guys think about them?

I know! Terrible! But for some reason... I don't know! I don't even like rap. :P But I think they're definitely interesting nonetheless, whether they're bad or good. They're different than the bland pop rap.

Edit: Yeah Antwoord means "Antwort" in Afrikaans.

South African, Afrikaans too =P never heard of them, and not a big fan of South African music really, so I don't think I'll be listening any time soon

The thing I like about them is their weird factor. That's what I appreciate about them, even of they make my ears bleed and my eyes melt.

Duuuuude I have loved them since I was in the 7th grade. Yes, they are horribly horrible, but I love them. Yolandi is like that. She's ugly, but she's super hot, man. The first song I heard by them is Beat Boy and my favorites are Evil Boy, Rich Bitch, Wat kyj kyj, and Slopie, and Fish Paste. Yep. They suck, they are horrible, but they hold a place in my heart. Q~Q

National embarresment, nee bru, they do the job of representing the kaapse vlakte people. What we lack is Afrikaans influence, All the world see is our kak music like koos kombuis ( a lekker ou don't get me wrong) Die antwoord and die heuwels vokkingfantasties fill the space! :) oh bru you Afrikaans?
