Hey guys i was wondering if any of your schools have a lockdown safety mode when there is a threat in the area. Well I find mine quite messed up. First of all, the teachers lock the door and close windows and stuff like that. Not trying to be racist but most of the black ppl in my achool freekout at stuff like this and immediately try to get the fck out. (even on a drill) lol i dnt understand why the school is trying to keep us in a room with 20 other ppl. I mean cone on there is a thin peice of glass between me and a guy with a weapon....

P. S when this wasnt a drill, i ran out the school cuz i was terrified at the moment i completely avoided the staying in class and teachers. Im protecting myself and they had the nerve to give me a JUG (detention in jesuit schools)

Sucks man. Our university has like a 300-page federal document or something that explains every bit of procedure. It's crazy. They've recently re-armed the doors and everything so there are certain safe areas we can go to that are almost impossible to break in. It's kind of terrorist and hurricane level protection. IMO it just stirs up paranoia to have to go through this mandatory training process thing.
