I hope you know that it's illegal, as is picture trading. It's child pornography, you're under 18.

Well I have a feeling this thread isn't going to last long, mind you.
I would say no, that is not normal. It is against the law in practically any country and you should not do it. It is classed as child pornography like Mike said above and not only that, but you are exposing yourself to basically, the internet. You are going online to a random stranger out there, and they could be predators. Keep your urges under control if they really are "urges" to cam, not to experiment with other males.
I am surprised Mike has not locked this.

All he did was state a fact. He was not being rude intentionally.

He wasn't commenting to be rude, he's trying to help you.
Yes, it is illegal, and no, you shouldn't be doing it.
Sure it's normal, but it's still not ever the right thing to do.
You never know what may happen on the other side. It isn't worth it.

˄ As all of the above said, it is illegal. If you are in the UK, if this got out it could mean that you have to sign the Sex Offenders register. This would prevent you from getting jobs in the legal profession and the armed forces. You could also be banned from working with children or vulnerable adults. This could count as a conviction and will be on your criminal record for good. You would have to declare this conviction at a job interview.
Experimenting with other guys is fine, but going over cam to someone else most definitely not.

Guys, you could be a little bit kinder here. Mike could've handled what he said much better, rather then giving off a condescending tone.
Yes, as previously stated it is illegal, consequences, etc. However, having the urge does not make you a bad person, and I wouldn't say it is uncommon. Many people feel the urge to, it's just a matter of it being 'wrong' to do.

I, personally, think the tone was fine. It's a serious topic that shouldn't be sugarcoated. I don't want to start an arguement, so please VM me if you wish to further the conversation.

Don't do it. It's illegal, and not worth it..

You asked a question, and I explained the dangers to you. I don't know how much simpler it could be put, and I wouldn't have put it any other way. It was not rude in the slightest bit, I think that's just how you've interpreted it.

Again, there is really no indication of me trying to be rude, condescending or "mean" at all in this thread. I also am not too sure how you can interpret my tone over the internet, but hey, different strokes for different folks.
It was by Sandeep that he was surprised that I did not lock this, I made the choice not to lock it because there is no illicit activity, explicit content or rule breaking going on, or should I say there was none. This will be locked if this nonsense argument continues, this is a help site, get over the arguing because I'm certainly not going to sit here and argue, rather, I explained myself.
You asked a question, I answered it sincerely.
Lets get back on topic, which I believe was the possible dangers of camming, before this gets locked; because I can see it coming in the near future.

Let me get this straight, if a underage kid is caught camming in a illicit manner, they become a convicted sex offender, just like that?!

well it is illegal, so I say don't do it.
But then I thought, if it weren't a stranger and you were gonna do it with your j/o buddy (friend, best friend, etc.) on the other side...
ohgod the things I think of when I'm bored

It's illegal, but chances are that's not a huge issue with you (not supposed to be a put-down, just saying)
It's a pretty normal urge to want to experiment, and I don't particularly blame you. But be careful and for god's sake don't spread the girl's pics around if you do, that's just fucking pathetic.

Where I live this is normal. Every guy pretty much has a collection on their phone of girls in their school or from schools nearby.

Regardless of the fact of whether it is "normal" or not, does that make it worth it if someone were to catch you? And how to do you think the girls would react if they knew that every guy at the school has a picture of them naked? It's not only child pornography, but just an invasion of privacy.

If the girl doesn't want them seen then why bother giving it out? I mean of course the guy is gonna go off and show his buddies, its a way of showing off. "Dude check it out, this hot chick gave me a pic." No one is forcing her to take a picture of herself and send it out.
Also I don't think this is considered child pornography in Canada since the offender is underage and of similar age to the "victim." I mean if I were to have sex with the girl would that be considered sex with a minor even though I am also a minor? It doesnt make sense.

Sexting and trading dirty pictures, among other things, happens a lot around here. If you're going to do it. Follow the "fight club rules", ie play dumb. If you can, have those messages under a security lock so people can't stumble on to them when they are messing with your phone.

First rule of dirty pics, you don't talk about dirty pics.
Second rule of dirty pics, you don't talk about dirty pics.

You two need to look over the rules. In the P101 rules you will find what is appropriate and inappropriate to post. I don't like the road this thread is heading down. :locked:
