I had the same problem. For me, the solution was getting an electric razor. I got mine at Target for around $40 - it's one of those rechargable battery operatored ones made by Norelco. I love it. It's not as close as a razor, but I'm still working on being able to have a full beard anyway so it definitely is a great solution to a sometimes uneven surface.

I'm pretty sure you're asking a question here. No, my electric razor doesn't cut my skin where I have pimples. What I do tend to do is to go lightly over any break-outs I have and not hover around those areas too long. I'm just trying to keep the whiskers from getting all long because it makes my face feel dirty. Because the screen-like head of the electric razor allows only hair to be cut, you won't end up raping your face with an extremely sharp blade. It works for me!

I actually use a regular razor to shave and have a lot of acne and doesn't hurt at all!:)

I use an electric one, too. They really are better because they won'r cut you badly no matter how bad your acne gets.

i use a regular razor, and besides when you start shaving your face more and more you won't have to worry about acne

I use a regular shaving razor and never had a problem as long as the blade was fresh and I used shaving cream. You'll be fine.
