View Full Version : WTF Happened to the App Store?! (mac users help please!!!)

I was doing some spring cleaning to my Apps folder, and I noticed that my App Store app went missing. Not in the Applications folder, not on the hard drive. When I click "App Store..." from the Apple menu, nothing happens. Really weird.
Does anyone know how to get it back?

When you say "spring cleaning", what exactly is that? Did you delete it by accident or what..

You could try updating your system software, if that helps. It sounds really strange for an app to just disappear like that. Maybe use TimeMachine to go back to yesterday or something.

My friend actually sent me a copy of the App Store, and it seems to work fine now. Thanks though, Sandeep!

Yep, the contents of the app are actually stored in the app so you can send them to your friends across the globe :P
