Nothing is "normal" when it comes to masturbation. It's all about preference. It isn't harmful (usually), but if it starts to hurt, even a little, let up! Well, as long as it doesn't interfere with your normal life, as said above, you are free to jack off as much as needed, with in reason of course.

In my opinion, masturbating 5-6 times a day is a lot. Personally, the most I have ever masturbated in a day is 3 times, but that is rare for me to do that. Generally I only do it 1 time a day and occasionally on days when I'm hornier than normal, 2 times a day.

As for it being normal, yes, it's normal. The only time you should really worry is if it disrupts your life and if masturbating becomes a priority of everything else in your life. If it's not disrupting anything, then I don't see an issue.

Doing it that many times a day is actually bad for you, I know you aren't looking to have a child at this age (well I presume you aren't) but doing it that often will effect your fertility so I would just advise to hold back a little and cut down on it a bit.

When I started jerking it was around 1-2 a day, but when I was 16-17 that frequency increased to what you're doing about 5-6 times. I'm 18 now and since then I've dropped my frequency down to once a day / every other day. I don't know, I think for me it was just what was going on with me at the time but it could of course be totally different for you.
