What is it that you look for in a guy? Guys seem to think they can attract girls by looking hard and showing off but is this really what you like to see? :)

Not at all. First off, I look for their personality. Looks *are* important... but more along the lines of hygiene and some idea of how to dress themselves and look classy. :)

Second, I look for what they like to do. Ideally they like a lot of things I like, but enough different things that we can expose each other to different tastes.

Finally, he needs to be intelligent and thoughtful, caring and romantic, and needs to understand me decently well :)

Ahh thats quite interesting :) ,, see most guys only look upon the lines of looks when they look at girls but sometimes just because someone looks attractive doesnt mean their personality wont stink haha I just find it interesting because boys and girls think totally different so woundered what peoples oppinions and thaughts were ;)

I tend to fall for the shy, gingers, and he's smart and a little athletic but not like macho-man, he's quite scrawny but he can lift me up xD. But I think as long as you be yourself and don't act like a complete douche around her, then I'm sure she will love you for you.

He was hot...I like emo guys too. They're just kinda sexy but that's my weird fetish and I'm working on it xD My boyfriend is far from emo...VERY far. But I love him. Keep that in mind. xD

It's different for every girl. Some like beards, some don't. Some like tall guys, some don't. Some like guys who will buy them everything in place of actual emotional love, some prefer the actual emotional love. Some like guys like the dude from Fifty Shades of Grey (so fetishy), some don't. ... etc.

HahaDo you too know each other then because I'm totally confused as to how codex knows what type of guy catalys likes lol :S and well thabkyou for your help lol I find it hard to understand what girls like in guys you see. I mean I'm not the type of guy that acts like 10 men but yet I never seem to get the girls either lol so just woundered if I was doing all the wring things haha :D

I am not a girl but I can give you some useful advice that has helped me in the past. When it comes to figuring out what a girl likes in a guy, it's usually related to the type of person she is. If she cares more about the physique of a guy, then she's more interested in having a trophy guy or in some cases a hot guy to get in bed with(seen it too many times). Once you get an idea of what type of person a girl is, figuring what she would find attractive for the most part is common sense and if you can talk to her you can find out pretty quickly and just in a way of getting to know each other. Overall, be yourself and selfless and you eventually get a young lady that's worth the effort.

Yehh I suppose that makes sence :) and I know what you mean about the trophie guys lol thats kinda what I meant about the guys that act all big and hard. I mean I'm not tiny but just average lol and just act it too :). I see it all the time on facebook people complaining that they cant get their head around how the opposite sex thinks and thats part of the reason why I asked this I guess :)
