I just got back from it not to long ago
I turned to my friend who I saw it with and said ,when Poe's love [whos name escapes me atm] breaches the castket the first time I say to him "The Cask of Amontillado" and when The Inspector mention the name of the ship the largest grin came upon my face and as Poe quotes The first sentence I said it with him
I love it

I'd love to see it. I love Poe. I'd love to see which of my favorite works by him will be incorporated in the film. My personal favorites are the Cask of Amontillado, the Pit and the Pendulum, and of course the Raven :P

I don't know why you people are so hyped, it's getting really bad reviews. I might eventually watch it, but it's a rare movie that can have a 21% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and get my money.

People are only really flocking to this because of Poe's name on it. I might see it. Now if someone made a really good movie adaptation of "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward", "At the Mountains of Madness", or "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" by H.P. Lovecraft, I'd flock to it without hesitation.
