Hey everyone, this isn't entirely a puberty related question, more of a growth and development question.
I like to keep fit by doing curl ups, but recentley I've discovered one side of my abodomen is bigger than the other so I stopped. I asked people and they just said I was performing the curl ups incorrectly, as in working one side more than the other without knowing it. However I am now too afraid to continue the curl ups in case my abdomen becomes more uneven. Is there something I can do to fix this? Or can you tell me where I've gone wrong? Please help, I'm desperate!

Hmm, I've never heard of this. But if you think you are doing it incorrectly, ask your gym teacher, or some kind of physical instructor. Maybe even ask your doctor.

Doctors wouldn't know much about this, more like a coach or a gym trainer's question. This is a good place for this also, I guess we can fit it here!
So basically, want you want to do is work that weaker side. Even though this video may sound stupid, it gives different ways of working both sides of your abs evenly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWjTnBmCHTY
Those are just some examples. You can do oblique crunches, or just regular crunches on one side. Curls...I don't see the difference between those and crunches, but I and a lot of others say that crunches are better for ab workouts than sit-ups (just for future reference).
So yeah, there's more than one way to work the abs. It's not that big of a deal and you can fix it if you get on it immediately :D
You probably want to go to your gym trainer or coach anyway for some more ideas and info on what you're doing wrong.

Oblique cruches are great for working one side, I would go with that.

If you would like help I suggest you be more descriptive.
If it's a case of the left side of your abs being larger, lie down, and sit up while turning right. If right side is bigger, lie down and sit up while turning left. If it's the top of your abs that is bigger, lie down on the ground and bring your knees to your chest. If your bottom is bigger, do sit ups.

To be specific I think it is my right oblique that is bigger than my left oblique. So I should do oblique crunches turning which way?

Turn to the opposite side (turn to the right)
Btw, is it your abs or your obliques? I'm pretty sure they're different

I guess all I can advise is to watch yourself in a mirror, or be very conscious of your movements when doing the curl-ups. Just make sure you're working both sides equally.

The difference between abs and obliques is your obliques are on your sides like where love handles would be and abs are on the front of ur belly. they are the ones most people see when you flex them. abs are also called ur six pack. if your left side is weaker than ur right side then you could put a weight in ur right hand and put ur left hand on ur head. alternate lowering and raising the weight using ur side muskle. if this doesn't make sence just message me and i will try to explain it better.

Hey guys, I questioned my doctor on this aswell, he seemed to think it was more of a bone structure thing rather than a muscle thing.
