Friend problems :/

One of my best friends is really depressed over her boyfriend and I don't know why todo all she dose is cry and not go out or talk and I'm very scared for her. She is madly in love with this guy but he has commitments like sport and school and he can't always be with her and when she is not she is almost suicidle and it's really sad but the last 2 people that she was with she said she was Madly in love with them 2 and she has a very crapy family. He is abused by her father all the time and he has anger problems and I'm just very scared for her. She has told me before that her dad has brought out a gun and there d the whole family. I just don't know what to do anymore. Please help someone? I need advice

OK well firstly, she needs to drop all the love stuff. Her well being is the most important, and if she is under that much shit in her house, something needs to be done. You need to alert the authority, but, it could be that she is making stuff up or exaggerating over her family. Make sure everything she tells you is true. When people cry, there's two causes;
either; they're emotionally asking for help
or they are craving attention.

In this case, I think there may be a bit of both, since she could be wanting the attention from you as well as asking for help. You need to check out what's going on with her family. What about her mother?

Now, the love. If the guy is too busy, then sorry. She has to deal with it. You need to tell her that she has to stop moping and think that he is still there. Think about the worse scenarios. She hasn't been dumped. He isn't dead. She needs a bit of tough love from you, and if he is busy, she needs to go out of her way to see him.
