So I'm very confused what this all means:

Can someone simple up what a metallic glass is?

Apparently, it is an alloy of metal and glass, and is one of the most toughest materials ever made.

So the screen won't crack like the others?

Price prediction: 1599.99$
That's a working class monthly income, mind you.

So back to the question,
it probably will crack since it is glass, but have a much more resistance to dropping of bending before giving way.

Did anyone actually read the article in the OP?
Metallic glass (Or a more accurate description; glassy metal) is simply metal that has been formed with the same structure as glass (Meaning, no crystals formed as it cooled). That's it. It's not transparent, so it can't be used for the screen, that still has to be made out of 'normal' glass.
The term glass here is confusing, because to any ordinary person the word 'glass' pretty much means something you can see through. But to a scientist, the term 'glass' is applied to any metal (Or metal alloy) that can be cooled without crystals forming in it's structure.
This perticular bit at the end of the article caught my attention: For anyone who is interested in seeing what this metallic glass is like see if you can get hold of the special little tool that Apple hands out with the iPhone3 for removing the SIM card. That’s made of it and they deliberately made it out of this metallic glass to see how it fared out in the real world.

Well...for one thing, it will NOT be called the iPhone 5. This is because:
1. There is already a 5th iPhone. The order was; iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S.
2. Most likely, like the "new iPad" it will just be the "new iPhone".
I couldn't seem to find this plausible. It's Apple. They like a big profit, and the glass-metal I am sure costs more than the glass they use. I don't see it happening. Not at the standard $199.99 price point.

I have been studying Solids in chemistry, and totally missed it.
There two kind of solids, as you all know. Amorphous and Crystalline.
There is the Metallic Bond is what causes metals to form as a Crystalline. Glass(SiO2) is amorphous because it is not arranged in a specific manner(also given the term, supercooled to the glass(which is wrong, I think))
If you open your data book, you can see things like Cubic, Rhombic, Orthorhombic and etc on a column. Those are crystal lattice shapes(which are with different edge number, length and angles)
EDGE LENGTH ARRRRGHGHH!!!!1!!
But how did they make it a amorphous? Is it because of different mixture of metals?

Think of it as the 5th Edition.

"The particular metallic glass in question is “Liquidmetal:” an alloy of titanium, zirconium, nickel, copper and other metals. It was first introduced to make golf clubs, but the relatively expensive material hasn’t caught on as a true mass market product. Electronics might be the perfect use for it though – only small amounts are required, and users place a premium on strength to weight ratio."
You're better off getting a Nokia then. ;)I still have my Nokia 3330. Man, Nostalgia.
