Simply put, how do i get them to stop?
As they've been at it some weeks now.. and when i ask mom about it, i get brushed off and when i ask my brother, he just looks at me funny, like i'm asking a stupid question or should know already before ignoring me/changing the subject.
When they fight (which is almost daily now), my brother tends to spend time here, with me (usually stays the night too) so it's not all bad.. but on the other hand, they're fighting and i feel like i should do something about it.
So yeah, since putting them in the same room is definately not working, any suggestions on how to get them to knock it off?

In my eyes you can do one of two things...
1. Set down with both of them and let them know how this is affecting you, see if you can act as a mediator and help them figure this out.
2. Just let them go at it, they will come to something in the end.
^^^ That is mine choice, my mother and I are the same way, my father and sister HATE IT when we fight because it gets big and loud and really quick. Yes, we will shout and say really mean and hateful things but in the end it all works out.

I am the same with both my parents, especially mum and my sister does nothing, if anything she goes and snitches and makes everything worse. Like Robert said I think you just need to wait it out. If i'm honest it's probably just adolecent years that he'll be like this, usually it stops around the late teens but if you really need to then sit them down. Maybe you Mum first because she's the supossed adult in this so if it's affecting you then she would hopefully want to do something about it.

Been trying to keep myself out of the arguments so far, which has been easy since i don't live at home anymore but maybe i should try to get them to sort through it all.
Might be for the best, even if i hate the idea of getting in the middle.
Or maybe i could just let them go at it, as i'm sure they'll work through it at some point.. or maybe i should make my brother tell me what the issue even is.. gah, why can nothing ever be simple, i ask? :(

Well nothing is simple in life because guess what? Life is a Bitch and then you die.
Seriously other than letting them know how you feel there is only two other opinos
1 Getting involved
2 Staying away and letting them get on with it
Option one might surprise you. If you can sit them down in a respectable manner and discuss issues like mature adults you maybe can come to some sort of conclusion.
Option two. Staying away. If you stay away you let them get on with it. It could be a good idea to let them get on with it because it could be a natural mother and son disagreement/hate.
Overall it's your own choice.
Me personally I would try the sit down option first to see if it worked. If it failed then I would stay away from it because they themselves probably need to work things out.

seriously if I were you I would give it all up.
I'm not good at mending my own relationships not mentioning others.
who the hell knows why they are fighting that bad.
they'll get tired of this fight soon.
just get a grip.
you can get in your own fight with both of them while trying to do the right thing.
