asexual ???

I started just liking girls. In 6th grade I noticed. that I found some guys very attractive. this made me think i was bi. even though I am attracted to both, I find that I can't imagine myself with either. so am I asexual or bi? PLEASE HELP:confused:

Well, asexual is defined as a lack of sexual interest. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asexuality) So it really depends whether you like girls and guys in a total way, or the ways without the sexual need. Also, I believe you might have thought about pansexuality, which is gender blind. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pansexuality) This means they like the person whether they are a boy, girl, transgender, or anything else not named before.

Also, check out the sexuality thread, because if you like girls in both ways, but are only mentally attracted to men, then you could be homoromantic- heterosexual. you see what i mean?

But, anyway, it sounds to me like you are bisexual. Good luck finding yourself out!

Well are you emotionally attatched or physically interested in people? I'm asexual, but I still get emotionally attatched to people. So it depends what way you are attracted to them.

Asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction. Asexuals may still experience romantic interest to one or more gender.

Anywho, I think more information is needed for us to help you out properly. Keep in mind that sexual and romantic attraction are separate things, and you may experience one toward guys and another towards girls or vice versa. Ultimately, it's your decision how you choose to identify. :)

when you hit puberty your hormones start to really kick in so its probably just hormones thats making you attracted to those guys don't worry its your choice

Asexual means you're not sexually attracted to anyone (but can still be emotionally attracted to people) I think you're probably bi, but in the end it doesn't matter which label you give yourself, just be happy :D
