Odd Smell down there. NOT B/O

Hey All, so I am not one to post in this section, just reply, but anyways. I just noticed a weird smell from down there. It smells kind-of like the ocean, or fish... definitely not pleasant. I know it is not B/O because it smells even after showering and cleaning very well. I have heard of smells like this in girls but never heard of it in guys... Anyone have the same thing or at least know what it is?

I guess so, but it doesn't happen often this is only the second time in like 4 years, and It was still there after I showered

I play base ball and semi pro paint ball - my balls sweat a LOT but mine don't smell( well I don't spend my day sniffing my gentials ) and I shower

Haha, that's why I am concerned. I do not sniff my genitals either but the smell was strong enough to get my attention and then look for where it was coming from. I also shower on a daily basis, as I have already mentioned twice in this thread

Okay, a few things, I would suggest that you make sure you use a new and clean towel every day when you shower and that you pat that area dry. I would also try gold-bon powder and put a little around that area.

A quick fix, don't turn your head down at me yet would be to shave. The smell clings to the hair because of the molecular features and if you shave it then it is similar to a "fresh start" it is almost like a redo button if you will. if you take away the source it clings to then there isn't anything to cling to and produce the smell.

Also, if you are a first time shaver then I would suggest Gold-Bond Medicated powder to help reduce any inflammation that might result from the shave...

yea i am going to have to say let them air out so they and wash em but i think its just sweat

Its called a yeast infection or something like that try a cream down there for it

some times bits of urine and semen stay on you penis head and/or foreskin, and it may start to smell. a remedy for this is to just simply wash your penis head with soap. you may have to pull the foreskin down but it should help. i had this problem, but a bit of soap and water made it go away. :)
tip: it might hurt at first because the head is sensitive, but after a little while it will go away
