Ok, so the computer lab at my school has headphones (like from 1990) and well they're just horrible to use. the padding is made of rubber, they give you headaches just to wear, and they hurt as well as have horrible sound quality (they're not even stereo) You guys think I should bring my headset to school and use that during computer class? Mine are still old but are actually usable. my computer lab's headsets are more like torture devices. What do you guys think? Bring my own headset to school or use the computer lab's headsets?

If you're allowed to, I don't see any problem. 2.3mm headset jacks are compatible with just about all modern headphones, so that's no problem either.

I think you should, and they should work, unless you're school computers are from the 90's as well.

Um...yes?
If you're complaining about headphones and you have your own ones that are better, then use them. It's not that much of a hard question.

Yeah I did that. If anything, be careful and don't attract attention to yourself. People will steal them, or "try them on" and wreck them. I never brought my proper monitoring cans for that reason, my cheapo HD201s got scratched everywhere possible by letting people try em.

Yeah, I would bring my own, but make sure you can. Like my school wont allow you to use your own headphones. Some rules they have, lol

There's a relatively easy fix: be an asshole and tell people "hell no" if they want to try them.
At least, that's how I do it.
