If you are not a lady, let me stop you right here.

If you are still reading, I assume you either have a va-jay-jay or are a pervert (lmao)

I'm having an issue; I am on birth control right now. This helps regulate my time of the month. I have one week every month where it happens. I have never had an issue involving this since I started the pill a year ago.

Now, lately I have been under a massive amount of emotional stress. I am trying to work my way through a mental crisis. In the last few weeks, I have developed many physical symptoms of stress (I.e.- naueasa, vomiting, headaches, shakes and nervous habits.)

My question is this: I am on "week two" of four in my birth control cycle. This means I should not have my time of the month for another two weeks. But now I have some pretty bad spotting, and I don't know why. So...... Could this be caused by stress????
Any advice would be appreciated!

Well I got bad spotting during a birth control cycle, I was on estriadol (I can't remember what it was called, but estriadol is the hormone) and then I switched to progestin (another hormone) and it stopped the spotting. It could be possibly be caused by stress. If you are experiencing this for prolonged periods of time, you could see your physician or a gynecologist.

Yes I'm a guy, and still alive and not a pervert just someone who knows what they are talking about. This issue I would take up with your doctor, it could be a combination of the drug, and like you said stress. However no one here will really know, and every person is different - therefore consulting your doctors office is the best point of action.

Yes I am a guy, but I also have 2 older sisters and a mother.

You should see a gynecologist. They are really the people to go and see what is going on from it. It could be caused if you are sexually active or maybe have stress I don't know, but I am sure the doctors would. I am sure there are a million things that it could be, so have it checked out.

Yes, I am of the male gender as well but I study medicine...

I would suggest you call your GYNO, it could be a major combination of the stress and the medications.

Call them and let them know what is going on and they can direct you from there.
