I'm not sure, you would have to ask but I can relate to what you have been feeling. I need to go see my school counselor and talk about stuff but I think it would be wise if you also go to see your counselor. Talking to people tends to ease the loneliness.

Oh... well in that case try to find someone that you can trust a friend, teacher, etc. and talk to them. I know how hard it is to find someone to trust your problems with but talking really helps. If you can try to go see a therapist. As for the homework you are going to have to talk to your teacher.

Thanks, an example of the problems, i had to bring ingredients for something we were making at school, but as ive said motivation = 0, so i didnt, i hardly managed to get to school, i spend the whole journey almost jumping in front of a car.

so my whole class, except 2 people did not bring there stuff in either. and my teacher decided it was okay to call me out on it, and make me look stupid in front of the whole class. i made up an excuse for why i didn't do it, and she made that lesson hell. if i had just said oh i didnt do it because im depressed and suicidal, i would from then on have no friends, and probs not go to school every again.

so this is why i want to tell my school. but i cant. because i dont have a diagnosis yet, as in my counselor said i am depressed, but can not issue a diagnosis without me seeing a different doctor. so if i tell any teachers, they will probs ask my mum, and she will say no she has not been diagnosed, and i will sound like a massive liar...

help...?

Ok so i am no specialist but this is what my counselor told me. There are to types of depression situational and I forgot the other one's name. Situational is sort of temporary and is caused by an unfortunate event example, failing a test, losing a game, losing money, having a bad day etc. but then there is the other one which is basically for the past few months you have been waking up sad and don't care about anything. If the second one applies to you I strongly recommend that you go and see a therapist. They will give you the help that you need.

Has your therapist diagnosed you with anything? If so use that to your advantage to help with school.

It's good to hear that you are making progress.
How do you think you'll do until then?

I get severely depressed also. I also get insomnia and have bad study skills because of it as well. For the insomnia and sleepiness, I take a medicine called 'Calms.' It really does help me sleep. Sometimes I'll also have chamomile tea or something before bed. Just little things like that help. About the homework, I don't know about your school, but mine, NO WAY. I mentioned my sleeping problems to a few teachers, and they just said 'Go to bed earlier.' I still have the same amount of homework. Try talking to a trusted adult or a friend who won't judge you about it. It really does help to just vent everything that's bothering you.

I recently got a reduced timetable and extensions on work and projects. Talking to your school can help you. What happened with me was that I went to the counselor to try to drop a class, which concerned the vice principal who called me down to ask. I was honest with her so she said she could help and she spoke with my psychiatrist and together they figured out what they thought would best help me.

Schools are very understanding. You do not have to have a concrete diagnosis to get some help. Not everyone has the opportunity or resources to get a diagnosis or some don't even seek that type of help. You're very likely to be one of many students who are having the same problems. The schools aren't interested in invading your privacy, only knowing the bare minimum in order to find out what can suit your needs the best in order to lessen the stress for you.

Try talking to a vice principal or counselor rather than individual teachers as they'll listen to someone higher up better.

Good luck. If you need anything, you can PM me any time and I'd be more than happy to try any help. This literally just got worked out for me two days ago so I could prolly offer a few suggestions.

I'm sure your therapist can take care of that, it isn't your fault.
