Do you have any tricks of making your hair straight or making it easier to straighten? I wear a beanie after drying my hair from the shower. It helps a some. So when I go to straighten my hair, there isnt as much curls.

I blow dry my hair while brushing it straight. My hair is quite ringletty but when I do that it turns into more just wavey :p So then I don't even have to bother straightening it.

I do blow dry it, but it basically does the same thing as air drying it. My hair has a mind of its own I tell you, lol. What sucks is, I want straight hair cause I'm doing the Shane Dawson Hair, but its always humid here, so some days, it will frizz and curl up with just a few hours. No matter how many times I go over my hair with the straightener, lol. Then its a hot mess.

Buy a high end straightener. Unfortunately they are rather expensive. Around $100. But they make ALL the difference. I used to have longer hair and I would have to straighten it everyday. And it wasn't until I bought a high quality one did I actually start to get my hair to do what I wanted, and also for it to stay that way without frizzing out in the middle of the day. You also need to use conditioner every time you wash. And use some kind of hair masque once a week. Heat does terrible things to hair, so you need to keep it nourished. If you don't, you will literally fry your hair to a very ugly outcome.

I just got a new straightener, so i doubt Im getting the $100 one, lol. I do use the heat protectors, i just recently found out if I let it soak in my hair when I spray it, it will work better. I used to spray it on and then flat iron.
