well last week i went swimming with some friends and at the end of the day, I was with one of my close friends on our way to the showers, but there was only one vacant stall so we decided to shower together.

There was really no awkwardness between us since both of us were in our underwear. But then I got really uncomfortable so I turned my back on him and took off my underwear and he suddenly grabbed my ass and that gave me a semi.

You should try not to dictate to other people about going further. That's there opinion.

As for the OP.

It was just a new experience for you! That's all. It does not make you gay or anything like that.

It was a new sexual experience and nothing more. It's fresh in your memory and therefore could be the first thing that pops into your mind.

Try not to worry about it because its nothing. This is no way determines your sexuality.

It's just your hormones conflicting with what you want. Both practically naked, showering together, its bound to make you both horny (even if you're both straight lol). Just take it in stride. Not saying act upon it necessarily, but laugh it off and don't think anything of it. It sounds like you both weren't weirded out by the experience, so as long as you're both comfortable in that situation there's nothing wrong with it.

But since you have thought about this when you jerk, its up to you whether or not you want to keep it as just a private thing between you 2, or talk to him about the possibility of maybe comparing, jerking together, etc. Only if you feel comfortable enough discussing that with him, otherwise I'd just leave it as it is and if you guys end up showering together like that again, then that's perfectly normal as well :D.
