Reading about it is making me cry.

Displaying no emotion, Breivik went on to say he had entered a cafe where several people were hiding.

"Some of them are completely paralysed. They cannot run," he said. "Two people were curled up."

He said he reloaded after running out of ammunition. "People were begging for their lives. I just shot them in the head."Others pretended to be dead, he added, but he knew they had not been wounded and shot them too.

Breivik continued his rampage around the island, luring youths from hiding places by telling them he was a police officer who was there to protect them.

When they came out, he said, "I shot towards many of them aiming at their heads."

The stunned silence in the courtroom was replaced with tears, our correspondent adds.

I cant quite bring myself to imagine the horror of the scene. I hope gets the most maximum possible sentence. Even that isnt enough.

I dont want their lives have been taken in vain.They were in the VT age range bracket too. Horrific.

I've never heard of someone admitting to murder but denying criminal responsibility. A bit of a paradox don't you think.

I don't know if you have heard some of the things he has said, but he went on to say that the last time Europe had "proper democracy was when Hitler was in power"

As to your second statement, he claims he has "dehumanized" himself and is not afraid to die. In that case, why not let him.:mad:

Globalisation is something different. It's about expanding your economy to other countries.

I saw this on my vacation to Turkey. This is tragic and horrible. He deserves death. Nobody like that deserves to live. Unless he is insane of course.

Muslims have been pouring into Europe in the past few years. A lot of them have tried to shove their way of life down the throats of what were once highly tolerant countries (Netherlands, Norway, etc.). Why do you not persecute these people? Why persecute a man who obviously feels his country is being forcefully taken over by what he thinks is a threat.

What Breivik did isn't commendable at all. Killing innocent people isn't going to help change a country. The fact that most of the victims had no connection to anything relating to the Muslim population in Norway further prove the above point. But why are we turning on him? Is he, too, not a human being that deserve the same love and compassion as the victims? We know he'll be found guilty and most likely given life in prison or the death penalty. I only hope he gets the help he truly needs, because he's most likely mentally ill.

This guy here believes in Eurobia, it's a conspiracy theory states that Muslim Arabs are there to convert them and Change Europe. That's the job of the missionary. So, you will persecute Muslim missionary for practicing his religion"Dawah"? If anyone wants to believe in Islam or adopt Middle-Eastern culture is really up to them. No one is there to take their lands from them.

I think these people never seen Middle-East and how Westernized it is.

The last place where Europe was about to Islamizised was Spain. And that was 700 years ago, the Muslims were executed the next century -- a la Inquisition.

This guy has a serious case of paranoia, much like an American who sees a Sikh and thinks they are Muslim Arab about to bomb blast himself.

I only hope he gets the help he truly needs, because he's most likely mentally ill.

Psychiatric evaluation prove him to be completely sane.
