Well, I'm a little worried that my parents are putting meds in my food because I don't want to take any medication except for sleeping pills. Could they do it (legally) or is it illegal?

If it is a medication that you were authorized/are supposed to have, then they can absolutely do that.

Well, in the United States, your parents technically own you, like a pet.
I still think my mom is planning on slipping Drano into my food one day. <.< >.> -.-"

Not sure if they can, to be honest. I never really heard of parents doing this.

Depends on your age. If your over 18, they have no control, otherwise, they can put legal doses of over the counters and your perscribed medication. My worry is, if they're mixing your meds in your food, that's setting you up for a bad chemical reaction between the meds and an ingredient.... best to just take 'em. Or at least pretend to take them and learn how to slip them out of your mouth and into the trash without anyone noticing.

You must discuss it if it troubles you...They just can't even if the law permits it to a certain degree. Find out what they are putting in your food and read the prescription, doctor's advice, etc or Google it. Tell them nicely,or go to another trusted relative and tell them whats happening. Hope I helped

In my personal opinion I think it's wrong putting it in your food without consent, for sometime I knew I was allergic to certain types of pills but I never got around to telling my mum; I don't think it's hard to see what could've gone down.
But regarding the law your parents are legally obliged to protect you hence they should ask for your consent what they're doing isn't illegal technically but if you're harmed it would've been illegal.

Totally agree with the guy 10 above me. sucks how much power adults get, you should get to chose whether you take meds or not. on the off chance your unfocused, that's your prob.

Well, yes they can. They're in charge of making sure you get your meds, which means that if they have to slip them into your food, then so be it. The only time it's illegal is when the drugs they're giving you are illegal (duh).

Just don't eat the food they give you if u think there drugging you, and buy your own food, or at least take from the fridge instead of what they give you. They'd have to drug the whole fridge for that to work on their side, in which case they'ed get the meds too.
