Yes, you need to PM an Administrator, you can contact them here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=19064) or here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=10320)...they will make the decision

Nope, we don't delete accounts here. If you'd like you could just delete all of your info, change your password to a keyboard slam (or not if you don't want to) and never sign back in.

Not to mention stupid & un-needed + you can wipe your account, changed setting, log out & never come back

thats pretty much what he said, but anyway dude, we don't delete accounts. reason being it would create gaps in threads and it just doesn't look good, if you don't want to be here, just log out, there ain't no obligation to be here.

It's easier to log out and not back in. Deleting members can do wonky things to the database.

As for banning yourself, that *is* stupid. What if you want to come back 1-2 years later? You're hosed.

That doesn't really work, as when a post exists, but the user doesn't, it is attributed to "Guest", which often doesn't use the right layout, wrecking the page, or just looking bad.

could keep the user name. just when someone clicks on it brings them to a dead page. Its what happened to my old account on another Vbulletin site. my username still appeared but it couldnt be used

To be honest I think that's just kind of pointless and isn't worth the trouble.

It really is really not that hard to.
Wipe your personal information
Change your settings to give optimal privacy
Change password to something stupid
Never log in.

It's easier and keeps the forums image. It's a system that is not broken so why try to fix it. It's worked this long, why not keep it the way it is.

So it's basically saves you 5 minutes of your time.

I could go in and remove all my personal data and never log back in and it would take me 5 mins.
