I've only shaved twice. The first time it looked good, but I got a ton of ingrown hairs. The second time looked like shit because i stopped partway through. That was last year, haven't shaved since then, but I'm thinking about it.

I shave it all off, one for sports (like some above said), but because that's how i personally am most comfortable. I think that if you shave it right then it can truly benefit you to shave, girls and im sure guys like a shaved pubic area, but then again it does all come back down to a persons preference.


-PS: If the reason why you have have not decided that you are comfortable with shaving is because of the razor bumps or razor rash (same thing basically) then try using shaving lotion and a new razor and make sure that your skin is heated with warm water that way the skin is soft enough to cut the hair but not damage the skins surface. After shaving i always apply lotion around that area just to make sure that the fresh area stays moist.

I mostly leave it natural. I don't have enough hair to be bothered shaving, even when my gf sucks my cock, there's no hair on my dick (just on my pubic mound and a little on my scrotum so she won't get any hair in her mouth), there's really no need to shave, maybe the odd trim to keep it neat, but shaving is going overboard.

you can trim it evenly by using a beard trimmer. I use mine occasionally when my hair looks messy, but there's no need to shave bare, if you did that you'd have to shave your legs too or it would look weird and I'm NOT going to shave my legs.

Besides, I don't want to have to constantly be shaving it off. I already have to shave my face and that right that is a huge pain in the ass. I don't need to add another thing to shave.

Usually I just trim nice n short. I've shaved bare a few times now, and every time the itch gets less intense. I actually just recently shaved bare for fun, sometimes just doing the same thing gets boring after a while. One of the things I don't like about shaving totally bare, is that I've gotten a few comments from girls saying that guys who shave totally bare look like little boys. And if the ladies don't like it, I'll most likely stay away from it, haha.

IMO, it makes a dick look bigger...plus, do you really want the person sucking to end up with a lot of hair?

Mouth + hair (hair of guy or hair of girl) is bad.


With that said, if someone is entirely shaved, IMO, that looks too much like a young kid. :eek:

I don't shave it but maybe I'll try it. The other week I went on a trip with school and one of my friends who is a chick, told me and some of my other friends never to shave our pubes unless we want to look like 12 year olds. But it's a personal choice, do what you feel suits you the best.

I asked my dad for a razor to shave my pubic hair and he said that when he was younger only gays shaved that area. I told him that times have changed, but he says to just keep it neat and trimmed with scissors.

I've shaved it bare a few times, but I don't like having to make sure the skin doesn't get irritated/don't want to deal with inflammation and red bumps. Plus I think personally it looks better with just a little bit of hair.

I trim mine, but I trim it pretty significantly. It's less hassle and looks/feels better imo.
