So there's this girl in my English class that's way too adorable, and of course I have a little crush on her but I have no idea how to talk to her. I've only been able to ask her like if we had homework and crap like that, since she's almost always around her friends (Thankfully, I almost never see her talking to guys). I just want to at least get to know her because she seems cool from what people have told me. Should I just walk up to her in the hallway and say "what's up?" or something? LOL. I'm guessing she at least knows who I am, but we've never had a big conversation before.

Yeah try to catch her when she's on her own or just with a few friends. Or you could ask her if she wants to hang out, just say "we should talk sometime?". Keep things simple, don't over complicate anything because that's when things get awkward and people get confused.

If you want to go out with her, you need to get to know her first. Just start up a conversation with her.

Get to class early and try to catch her alone before her friends get there or try to catch her after class sometime. If you start a convo with her before her friends get there then even if they show up you should be in the clear unless she's rude lol

Ask her how she is or a question about homework. Then keep talking, but try not to make it inconvenient for her. Once you initiate a conversation, go with the flow.

In class just start up a convosation, then talk to her via a social network (eg facebook) and if that goes well ask for her number and gradualy build up the connection

Sorry if this against the rules to necropost, but I thought It'd be easier than to just make a new thread.

Anyway, I started talking to her. I started off just asking her random questions about homework, and then I started talking to her about her interests and crap, which was good I guess (She said hi and bye and stuff to me, LOL) However I think she's sort of avoiding me, because most of this week she's with a friend more often, and once I even saw her friend glaring at me when I walked by. I waved at her today and she just said "hey" and nothing else. I don't know if I should take that as a sign to back off or keep going or what haha, any ideas?
