4/20 Tomorrow

Who's participating in tomorrow's activities? I have some brownies and picking up a lollipot at some point, my buddy is going to be selling me shots of green dragon. But I got work after school, so I got to be sober for the better part of the day. Furthermore, my question for you is what are your thoughts of 4/20? Does it bother you that this National holiday shares the same date as the birth of the most evil man to walk the planet in centuries (I'm Jewish, btw) and the first major school shooting in the United States?

I used to call it a taboo holiday because of these reasons, but my newer philosophy is that the evil in the world can be cancelled out with acts of kindness and positive vibes. So I'm going to have an awesome day and do my best to make sure everyone around me does.

I find it funny that the celebration of something that is currently illegal is the positive vibe that cancels out the negativity lol.

I don't really have any philosophical views towards the day, I'm not even really sure why it is connected to weed (I have heard like 35 differant reasons), but whatever. Just an excuse to...do something we're not supposed to talk about here.

Lmao alright.. first of all 420 is not a national holiday. It's unofficial date where people smoke weed. So if you already smoke, why's it different from any other day? I hate the hype surrouding 420, it's so over rated.
Secondly there really isn't much of a connection to weed and the date. I've also heard a million different reasons, but all of them sound coincidental. Like the code "420" was used by police officers to notify other officers that there was a pot bust or w/e.

Last off i'm not sure if we're aloud to talk about what "activities" we'll be participating in tomorrow. Even though it's pretty obvious.

This isn't really appropriate for this section. There are a lot of people who post here who have some serious drug issues, and this discussion isn't too ideal for them. However, there is an open thread in The White Padded Room which you can post in. But this I will be locking. :locked:
