I didn't find any place for VT musicians to post improvisation, so you can do that here :P

Here's some of my impro, although some existing songs did somehow find their way into the playing

Cool! What do you use to record? What do you record for?
It's just about impossible to improv without being influenced by existing compositions, there's so much out there that it's pretty much impossible.

I'd suggest you put that through an EQ and some basic low-level processing to balance it right.

I actually did it quite crudely :D
Audio cable (3,5mm) from the headphone jack (using a 6,35mm adapter) of the Kawai digital piano to the Microphone port of my computer and recorded using GarageBand. I had to put the monitoring through the computer's internal speakers because I only had one 6,35mm adapter at my disposal  With a second one I could have had headphones for better monitor quality.
Right now I record for fun and also for feedback :) I basically improvise and play around on a piano/keyboard relatively often so I thought why not record one session (or a few more when I get to it). It's also helpful to listen to my own playing so I can evaluate where I can improve.
Talking about compositions, I might post some of my own compositions in the same manner when I get myself to it :P
Ok so I might sound quite stupid, but what will the balancing do? :D
