Skrillex is good. But overrated. Honestly, I feel like deadmau5 is more of a pioneer than skrillex. I think he was there first doing his own thing (that wasn't even dubstep) and the skrillex came along and made dubstep popular. I have more respect for the mau5.

I agree deadmau5 has been round since 2003 and he's been my favourite artist since 2004. Deadmau5 forever <3. Skrillex is good too but I prefer knife party to him :P

Neither are exceptional at what they do. I have heard much better, and I don't even like that kind of music. Skrillex is very good at reusing the same beats, drops and melodies while he just changes the pitch, tone and speed. I don't think that's too impressive, but meh.

Deadmau5 doesn't hold my attention, and Skrillex is too light. I know it sounds crazy, but he just doesn't have that visceral wub wub wub... Whub sound, you know?
